This website was created in dedication of the new version of the North American Soccer League, which seeks to honor and respect the history of the original North American Soccer League, which existed from 1968 to 1984. This site has no affiliation with the NASL, its member teams or the Team Owners Association in any way, shape or form. The difference here is that instead of competing as a direct competitor to the current USSF Division I professional league Major League Soccer, the new NASL will seek to establish itself as a Division II professional league, pending approval from the United States Soccer Federation and FIFA. Please keep in mind that the original NASL logo used on this site is only a placeholder, as there will likely be a newer, updated NASL league logo. If the league receives USSF, CSA and FIFA approval, it should be released soon and it will be used on this site (if that's OK with the TOA!). |
